Problem
I try to debug the target computer running OnTime RTOS-32 from Visual Studio, but I can't get it to work.

Arrow Make sure you have a working serial or parallell connection to the target computer, and that you've started the "Debug Application RTOS.sln" solution instead of "CDP_Application.sln".

Arrow Check RTLoc configuration files, typically CDPController.cfg. It should contain the target's port configuration, something like:
Code:

#ifdef BOOT        // This stuff is only for the boot code
 COMPort   LPT1    // Target's port from cross debugging (COMx or LPTx)
#endif

Arrow Check the configuration in RTTarget.ini.
RTTarget.ini contains the port configuration for the host computer (workstation). It is located in either \Program Files\<rtos>\bin or in your project directory (CDP_Application directory).
It should contain something like:
Code:

[COM]
Port=LPT1        // COMx or LPTx

See RTOS-32 documentation for more details.
